Carefree Dental is a dental discount network provider equipping individuals and their families with a smart, affordable alternative to insurance. Grasshorse designed this 3D animated commercial to embrace Carefree Dental’s family-minded mission by bringing to life a personified dental bill that manifests itself as a monster coming head-to-head with Ninja, our hero inspired by the Carefree Dental card logo. This dynamic, action-packed story utilizes primarily 3D animation with some light 2D texturing to create the graphic aesthetic of the spot. The facial texture animation was created in Adobe Creative Suite programs, and the bodies of both characters were created in the 3D animation software Blender.
